Global Life Science Hub are working with a small biotech company located in the US, focused on developing innovative treatments for a range of medical conditions. Their team is made up of passionate scientists, researchers, and business professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of patients. As they continue to grow, we are now seeking a Senior Biostatistician to join their tight-knit team.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Biostatistician, you will be responsible for leading statistical analysis for clinical trials and studies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design studies, develop statistical analysis plans, analyze and interpret data, and communicate results to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and clinical trials, with experience working in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead statistical planning and analysis for clinical trials and studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design studies and develop statistical analysis plans
• Develop statistical models and methods for analyzing data
• Analyze and interpret study data, and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior statisticians as needed
• Contribute to the development of protocols, study reports, and regulatory submissions

Experience/Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in biostatistics, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and their application in clinical trials
• Experience with statistical software such as SAS or R
• Experience in the design and analysis of clinical trials and studies
• Ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts to non-statisticians
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
