Are you a highly skilled leader in the biopharmaceutical industry? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team as General Manager/Managing Director – BioPharma Early Discovery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a prominent business line, overseeing operations across multiple countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the International Business Line (IBL), ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee the consolidated P&L, supporting expansion initiatives and post-merger integrations.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to drive effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Enhance operational effectiveness, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Recruit and develop exceptional leaders, fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
  • Drive collaboration and adaptability across diverse teams from different cultural backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of international leadership experience, with full P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the pharmaceutical services market, particularly in Early Discovery activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • Strong skills in sales and business strategy development.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing fast-growing businesses.
  • Experience in M&A activities and business integration.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of financial aspects.
  • Solid leadership abilities and the ability to foster collaboration in diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes.
