Job Description

Job Title: Oncology Senior Statistical Programmer

Location: United Kingdom, Spain, South Africa, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Hungary

Summary

Global Life Science Hub is partnered with a leading global CRO providing comprehensive services to support clinical research and drug development. We are currently looking for an experienced Oncology Senior Statistical Programmer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical research associates to provide statistical programming support for oncology clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate SAS programs to produce high-quality analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures for oncology clinical trials.
  • Ensure programming activities meet project timelines, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other statistical programmers and team members.
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians and data managers to develop and maintain programming specifications and standards.
  • Perform quality control of programming deliverables and identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in statistical programming in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS, with experience in CDISC standards and regulatory submissions.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial design, data structures, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in oncology clinical trials is required.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
