Vice President, Global Head, Biometrics & Data Science – Remote – Europe

Due to their continuous success, they’re now searching for a Global Had of Biometrics and Data Science to develop and execute the entire Global Biometrics strategy and to continue to grow a long-term biometrics vision.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high preforming biometrics team consisting of Biostatistics, Clinical Data Management, Statistical Programming and Data Science
• Develop and execute a long-term biometrics vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver biometric capabilities in support of growing clinical development portfolio.
• Contribute to workload forecasts and planning of resource needs.
• Attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent; provide effective coaching, feedback, and performance management to team members at varying career levels.
• Set business strategy, accountable for achieving key business metrics, and ensure delivery of data insights and analytic innovations. 
• Provide strategic and statistical expertise for clinical programs including clinical trial design, outcome measures, clinical development plan.
• Expand biometrics support to R&D, Clinical Translation and Technical Operations
• Work closely with the CMO to contribute a leadership ensuring scientific excellence, accelerated product development and greater cross-functional alignment
• Understand the operation and regulatory challenges.
• Manage global budgets across all biometrics functions.
• Create and review SOPs within the Biometrics functions.

Experience/Qualifications:

• PhD or MS in Biostatistics or Statistics.
• Extensive experience negotiating successfully with health authorities, including auditors/inspectors, and eCTD BLA/NDA/MAA submission experience is a must
• 10 years’ experience in a Biotech, CRO or Pharma environment
• Strong line management and team building experience
• Knowledge of SDTM/ ADAM
