Vice President of Quality

As the Vice President of Quality, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and regulatory excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s quality strategy and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Quality team, ensuring a culture of excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including product release, audits, inspections, and CAPA management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support regulatory inspections, responding to findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organization, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, representing the company’s commitment to quality and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance/Control in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of successful leadership in quality management, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
• Extensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build positive relationships with regulatory agencies.
