This exceptional growth has led to the appointment of a new Director of Clinical Operations, who will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the transition to in-house clinical activities.

Position: Director of Clinical Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Clinical Operations function.
  • Provide oversight of current and future global clinical programs.
  • Direct line management of a cross-functional team, providing strategy to build the clinical department moving forward.
  • As a member of the product development team, support overall strategy and clinical trial conduct.
  • Operational and clinical expertise for various Oncology clinical trials.
  • Development of early and late phase products from Phase 1 to NDA approval.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the function activities, including both outstanding science, revenues, and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on the strategic direction of Clinical Operations and the wider organization.
  • Recruit, motivate and develop talented individuals for leadership roles within the clinical operations team.
  • Achieve efficient resource utilization and work collaboratively with other groups to ensure the department and projects are properly resourced, supported and delivered to pre-defined scientific and project objectives, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and nurture scientific and discipline excellence to further develop the scientific and business delivery and achievements of the function.
  • Establish and foster outstanding collaborative relationships with all other departments, especially Regulatory Affairs to meet the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Act in close partnership with business development; identifying new clients and collaborations.
  • Act as an ambassador to the company externally and when required.
  • Work together with Quality Management to always ensure compliance and regulatory adherence and build a quality culture across clinical operations.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences or a related field.
  • 10 – 15-year experience in Clinical Operations
  • Early phase development experience is essential
  • T-Cell Therapy and or/immunology experience is highly desirable
  • Experience managing CROs and vendors.
  • Prior experience in successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exemplary ethics and team building skills.
