Global Life Science Hub is proud to partner with a specialised Biopharmaceutical company at the forefront of next-generation drug delivery technologies and Generics drug development.

With recent FDA approvals and plans for significant growth, our partner is preparing to triple production in 2024 with new in-house Manufacturing capabilities. This presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team driving innovation and advancement in the pharmaceutical sector.

Position: Associate Director, Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing robust supply plans to maintain optimal inventory levels in line with commercial demand.
  • Coordinating and supervising product movement within the supply network, including both domestic and international freight.
  • Supporting network development, new product launches, and various life-cycle management initiatives such as cost reduction, optimization, and complexity reduction.
  • Establishing efficient business processes and tools to enhance operational productivity and establish a top-tier, dependable supply chain operation.
  • Initiating and spearheading business process enhancement projects across the supply chain network.
  • Defining key performance indicators to monitor product availability, customer service levels, delivery punctuality, back orders, etc.
  • Providing oversight, mentoring, and coaching to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain
  • Preference for Supply Chain certification (e.g., APICS).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in managing complexity, conflict resolution, identifying process gaps through data analysis, and assessing the risk and impact of supply-related processes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong coordination and project management abilities.
  • Proficient analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in operational excellence is advantageous.
