Job Description
Global Life Science Hub proudly partnered with a boutique German CDMO that’s breaking ground in crafting high-quality suppositories, ointments, and gels. Since receiving a recent and significant cash injection, they’re invested extensively in new cutting-edge technology and machines as they plan to ramp up their production efforts by 4-fold.
Due to their remarkable achievements as they enter a new period of further expansion and growth, we’re searching for a visionary Head of Manufacturing to spearhead their small, yet dynamic team of 16 production experts and expand their operations globally.
Position: Head of Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production operations, ensuring strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Strategize, implement, and assess manufacturing processes for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the technology department to ensure the qualification of systems and calibration of measuring equipment.
- Lead the validation of manufacturing processes and cleaning procedures, actively participating in audit preparations.
- Ensure full compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Share accountability for cost and budget compliance, efficiency, and delivery capability.
Qualifications:
- Background in pharmaceutical technology or extensive experience in pharmaceutical production.
- Additional training or certification as a master is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated initiative, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills, coupled with assertiveness and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German, with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Advanced IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
